Meet Tonya

Tonya Colton has the knowledge and compassion to lend the helpful and supportive hand clients need to push ahead with their real estate goals. Whether helping them buy their first home or sell their family home, Tonya couldn’t imagine a more fulfilling career — no other job allows her to be so emotionally and financially involved in changing other people’s lives for the better.

 

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, Tonya dove headfirst into the real estate industry. In her early days, she won the Five Star Real Estate Agent award for up-and-coming agents; more recently, she was ranked in the top 1.5% of California agents by The Wall Street Journal and RealTrends. She knows the ins and outs of the business, providing her buyers with every resource to secure their dream home and her sellers with innovative marketing strategies to get them top dollar. “Homes matter too much,” she says. “People deserve to be informed and taken care of — this is not just a business; it’s people’s lives!”

 

Tonya’s command of real estate is further enhanced by her experiences renovating, remodeling, and staging homes, which brings her clients faster offers for a higher price while staying within the parameters of their needs. Her uncanny ability to see creatively, as well as her ability to engage with her clients intuitively and manage the financial and logistical aspects of a transaction comfortably, make Tonya an unparalleled resource. Though she is competitively driven to succeed, she also follows her moral compass when caring for her clients, taking the time to understand their perspectives and avoiding assumptions.

 

Tonya and her husband have lived in the East Bay for most of their lives. Work is her biggest hobby, but she still manages to enjoy things separate from real estate. Gardening is her therapy — and her homemade tomato sauce is proof of that! Tonya also loves hiking, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends. While she stayed home to raise her four boys, she frequently volunteered for programs and events, such as Little League, Boy Scouts of America, and school fundraisers. Tonya continues to help out the local community by fundraising and advising people about home updates and modifications.
